Liability disclaimer
World Wide Retreats puts parties in contact with each other. Everything that happens after that introduction is between those parties.
1. We are an introduction platform only
World Wide Retreats is a connection and lead-generation platform. Our sole role is to introduce people looking for retreats, facilitators and teachers, and venues to one another. We do not organise, host, run, supervise, sell or resell any retreat, class, treatment, session, accommodation or transport.
2. No contract between us and you
Any booking, agreement, price, deposit, cancellation term, payment or refund is agreed directly between the parties introduced. World Wide Retreats is not a party to those agreements, holds no funds on behalf of any party, and is not an agent, employer, partner or joint venturer of any facilitator or venue.
3. No verification or endorsement
Profiles, listings, photos, prices, qualifications, insurance details and availability are supplied by facilitators and venues themselves. We do not independently verify them and do not endorse, certify, licence or guarantee any person, property or service listed. Each party is responsible for carrying out its own due diligence, including checking qualifications, insurance, permits and safety standards before entering into any agreement.
4. Health, safety and personal risk
Fascia work, bodywork, movement, breathwork, meditation, nutrition, coaching and other wellness modalities carry inherent risks and are not medical treatment. Nothing on this platform is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating in any retreat or practice. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, World Wide Retreats, its owners and operators accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, cancellation, non-performance, misrepresentation, theft, property damage, travel disruption or dispute arising from any introduction made through this platform or from any retreat, service or stay. Any claim must be pursued against the facilitator, venue or other party directly.
6. Commissions and fees
Where a commission or fee is agreed with a facilitator or venue for an introduction, it relates solely to the introduction. It does not make World Wide Retreats responsible for the delivery, quality, safety or outcome of the retreat or service.
7. Insurance and compliance
Facilitators and venues are solely responsible for holding appropriate professional, public liability and property insurance, and for complying with all local laws, licences, tax obligations, health and safety rules, and consumer protection requirements in their jurisdiction.
8. Content and third-party links
Listing content is provided by third parties and may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. We may edit or remove any listing at our discretion. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites linked from this platform.
9. Changes
We may update this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
